Staying in for Valentines Day

Brad and I started the tradition of staying in on February the 14th when one Valentines day we walked into this restaurant for dinner and they told us it was reservation only. When they normally did not take reservations, it was definitely a let down since we drove out of our way to get there and got all dressed. So when Brad asked me what I wanted to do this year, I just said lets make dinner together. I don't know about a lot of other couples but staying in is more intimate and more personal than putting your love on display in a restaurant for everyone to see. Plus there is no PDA when it is all behind closed doors.

So while discussing what we wanted to eat for dinner we decided on seafood. We are both suckers for good seafood. On that note we started to think of places that are well known for their seafood. That's when it hit us, Pikes Place Market in Seattle.

Seattle is full of very interesting people and it seems the Market in spite of how early it was, was very busy with so many people buying gorgeous bouquets for loved ones. I am not really a flower or jewelry person. I prefer acts of love over things any day. Our trip was very brief, since it was a cold, chilly day in Seattle. We got ourselves one very large crab and went home. Here are some pictures I took from my phone of my love making me some crab for dinner. I love you Brad :)

Happy Valentines Day to everyone! Spend it with someone you love :)
