So I have been seeing this on lots of craft blogs and sites lately. And it looks pretty easy, just wish I had kids so I could steal their half broken crayons. In this tutorial I have noticed she uses a glue gun to get the melted effect on the canvas, but I have also seen people use a blow dryer method. I really like this creation because it kind of reminds me of the never ending rain in Washington, and how there is beauty in it. Even though I can't always see it.

1. Choose your silhouette. I would suggest cutting it using an xacto knife or a crafting scissors.

2. Choose from a variety of blue and grey colored crayons.

3. Cover your silhouette shape with painters tape, stick your crayon in a glue gun, and ta da! Instant art.
Here are a few other variations, they are all beautiful.
